Born in 1985 in Geneva, Agnès Aubert is a multidisciplinary artist, art therapist and artivist. With a Master’s in Peace Building & Conflict Transformation through the arts, she has spent over a decade using art as a tool for healing and advocacy, supporting vulnerable populations such as refugees and individuals with special needs through her social project, Art For Peace.

Her artistic journey has been deeply shaped by her experiences, including four years in the Middle East, and her ongoing commitment to indigenous advocacy, particularly in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.

Her paintings and performances weave together tribal ancestral traditions and contemporary indigenous struggles, shedding light on the fight to preserve forests and indigenous population.

Agnès' work blends primal and modern aesthetics, drawing inspiration from artists such as Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, and Zao Wou-Ki, as well as performance pioneers like Isadora Duncan and Marina Abramović. Her style is reminiscent of Mayan civilization art, fused with contemporary artistic expressions, creating pieces that feel both enigmatic and deeply symbolic.

Since 2009, she has led therapeutic programs, creative workshops, and arts education initiatives in NGOs, governmental institutions, and humanitarian organizations, providing a safe space for individuals navigating trauma.

At the core of her work lies a profound belief in the transformative power of art—not only as a tool for healing but as a way to reclaim stories, rebuild resilience, and foster social justice.
